Vagabond Shoemakers are on an exciting data journey, introducing Power BI across the organisation and building a new, modern data warehouse. To support this transformation, we are looking for a Power BI specialist to join us on a project-based assignment.

In this role, you will play a key part in strengthening our data-driven decision-making. Your main mission will be to help our Business Controllers and Stakeholders get up and running with Power BI, enabling them to develop reports and dashboards that support better and faster decision-making across the organisation. Working closely with our Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Logistics, and E-commerce teams, you will transform business needs into structured data models and comprehensive reporting solutions.

This is a fixed-term, project-based role lasting 6 to 12 months. Candidates must be based in Sweden, and the role is mainly carried out onsite at Vagabond Shoemaker’s headquarters in Varberg, with the possibility of occasional remote work.

Responsibilities:

• Develop reports and dashboards in Power BI

• Structure and model data in the new data warehouse

• Support and enable Business Controllers in developing Power BI reports

• Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable BI solutions

• Ensure high data quality, clear definitions, and reusable datasets

• Visualise insights in an intuitive, user-friendly way tailored to different business roles

We believe you have:

• Experience working with Power BI, including data modelling (DAX), reporting, and visualisation

• Experience working in data warehouse environments

• A strong understanding of business processes, preferably within retail, e-commerce, logistics, or finance

• Experience using AI in relevant environments

• A good sense of UX/UI and the ability to build dashboards that are both functional and easy to understand

• The ability to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights

• Experience working with data from multiple source systems (ERP, e-commerce, logistics, finance)

• A structured, communicative, and proactive mindset; you enjoy empowering others and making things happen
