Design Technician

You will be part of our Design Team and the journey towards becoming one of Europe’s strongest fashion brands. As a Design Technician, you will play a crucial role in transforming creative ideas into products ready for production.

Working closely with designers, your main responsibility will be to develop outsoles and heels that capture the Vagabond look, feel, and quality. You will be responsible for creating technical drawings and ensuring that the outsole aligns with the project.

This is a temporary position, with an approximate duration of one year, based in our Design Department at our headquarters in Varberg, Sweden. The department consists of around 20 staff members dedicated to designing and developing the Vagabond collections.

You are a true team player with a flexible, solution-focused mindset, and you flourish in an environment where creativity and technical knowledge go hand in hand.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Advanced user in related software for 3D modelling, imaging, AI, and 3D printing (experience in Rhino is an advantage)
  • Ability to work manually with the development of prototypes
  • A genuine interest for fashion and design
  • Experience in the footwear industry is valued but not required
  • Comfortable communicating professionally in English
